The Neurofeedback Advocacy Project

The Neurofeedback Advocacy Project To advance our mission, we offer training and ongoing monitoring/evaluation of processes and outcomes to eligible agencies.

Our mission is to make neurofeedback accessible to public agencies, nonprofit organizations, schools, and private clinicians who work with the underserved and most vulnerable. To be eligible, an agency/practice must serve either an underserved or difficult-to-serve population or have at least 80% of clients who are low-income/Medicaid-eligible. Each client brings a unique history, presentation, and set of needs.

As clinicians continue applying ILF neurofeedback, they learn to adapt their approach based on what they observe and experience over time.

Individualized care helps ensure that support remains responsive to the person sitting in front of them.

Clinical decision-making develops through experience, understanding, and thoughtful application.

As clinicians continue working with ILF neurofeedback, they learn to recognize patterns, consider individual needs, and make informed decisions that support care.

Understanding helps guide the adaptation of care from one client to the next.

Experience continues to shape how ILF neurofeedback is understood and applied in clinical settings.

As clinicians work with different client presentations, each session contributes to a broader understanding of the care process.

This continued experience helps shape how care is adapted and applied in day-to-day practice.

As ILF neurofeedback continues to be applied within clinical settings, clinicians often begin refining their approach through ongoing experience and individualized adjustment over time.

Continued application contributes to a broader understanding of how care can evolve to support each client’s changing needs within day-to-day clinical settings.

As Memorial Day approaches, ongoing research surrounding individualized neurofeedback continues contributing to broader conversations involving PTSD, post-concussive symptoms, and Veteran mental health support.

Recent VA-supported research exploring individualized neurofeedback reported improvements in post-concussive symptoms, with additional impact observed in PTSD, depression, and other physiological and psychological symptoms.

“This type of neurofeedback holds promise to be a safe and effective intervention for those who suffer with post-concussive symptoms,” explained study lead Dr. Judy Carlson.

While further validation remains important, research and clinical discussions on supportive approaches for Veterans continue.

In many clinical settings, meaningful support is not built through a single intervention but through an ongoing process of continuity and engagement over time.

As ILF neurofeedback continues to be incorporated into care settings, clinicians often recognize the importance of maintaining structured support that allows space for adjustment, stabilization, and continued therapeutic work.

This ongoing process remains an important part of long-term clinical support.

As ILF neurofeedback becomes integrated into ongoing clinical care, it begins to function as part of a broader therapeutic process rather than as a stand-alone intervention.

Clinicians learn to incorporate observation, pacing, and responsiveness into existing care models to support the individual needs of each client.

This integration continues to shape how care is approached within real-world clinical settings.

As ILF neurofeedback becomes part of ongoing clinical care, clinicians begin to recognize that no two client responses look exactly the same.

Observation, pacing, and interpretation are integral to understanding how to approach care in a way that is individualized and responsive.

This growing clinical awareness continues to shape care in real-world settings.

As ILF neurofeedback is integrated into ongoing clinical work, the process continues to evolve through observation and change.

Clinicians begin to recognize subtle changes, respond more intentionally during sessions, and improve their approach to meet the needs of each individual client.

This ongoing improvement shapes both the clinical process and the way regulation and response are approached in real-world settings.

When ILF neurofeedback moves beyond training, the work begins to take shape in real time.

As clinicians begin working directly with clients, they recognize patterns, make adjustments, and refine their approach for each individual.

Through this ongoing application, confidence builds in both the process and clinical decision-making.

Over time, the work becomes more natural and more integrated into daily practice.
