Home Sweet Home gives furniture, household items, artwork, décor, and linens a second life by putting them to use in the home of another family.
Downsizing is easier for our clients when they know what they are leaving behind makes a difference to others.

Earlier this year, our co-owner Carolyn was elected to the Board of the National Association of Senior Move Managers® (NASMM) and just finished a busy 5 days at conference.

Carolyn serves as the Director of Industry Standards, Ethics and Compliance.

You might wonder—what makes a Senior Move Manager® different from move managers, movers or organizers?

NASMM professionals follow a strict Code of Ethics with an independent commission to evaluate and manage ethical matters.

Senior Move Managers® hold specialized insurance and complete ongoing education.

It’s a huge distinction, and it means we can provide the highest level of comfort and peace of mind to our clients, their families, and our professional partners.

We are excited to head to Indianapolis to join a few hundred other Senior Move Managers at our annual conference. Carolyn, one of our owners, is already there hard at work as a member of the NASMM board. We can’t wait for three days of spending time with other senior move managers. It is always a full schedule of courses and learning labs, but the greatest impact are the relationships we build!

Before Conference officially begins, your NASMM Board is spending the day together in Indianapolis focused on the work ahead.

Today is about planning thoughtfully for the future of NASMM, strengthening the value we provide our members, and making decisions that support the continued growth and credibility of the Senior & Specialty Move Management® profession.

There is a lot on the table - membership, programs, Conference, public awareness, ethics and standards, partnerships, committee development, and the long-term health of the Association - and we’re taking that responsibility seriously.

Our goal is simple: help create a stronger NASMM that contributes meaningfully to the success of our members and the industry we all care so deeply about.

We’re excited for the conversations ahead today - and even more excited to welcome everyone to Conference very soon.
