This feels different after Mama passed away. She loves Chicago in the 90’a during my college days. We had conversations reminiscing about those days during my last few months with her. The most amazing thing is I don’t mias her with a heavy heart. What I do miss sending her photos and chatting with her about the good days. Thank you Mama for those days. All I can do to honor you right now is to hold your memory with gratitude and to share it with my daughters the way you provided a container for me when I needed it. That was probably all the time.

What a wonderful evening! Thanks to my dearest friend for inviting me to the Philippine Department of Tourism Awards. I met so many good people, had amazing conversations, and the best part was getting emotional watching the Philippines being given so much honor as the premier travel destination of the world. Meeting those that have dedicated their passion to building this legacy is such an honor! Heck, even the butter was good! .o.v.e.philippines

Sometimes we have to choose between fancy and delicious. Tonight was one of my lucky nights. This crema de fruta is awesomely both! Perfect ending to an amazing dinner. AND I am grateful for one of my nearest and dearest lifelong friends ❤️
