oice. SWIRCA is not a health care provider or government agency. As a social service organization, we provide a holistic response to the needs of seniors in our community. As an Area Agency on Aging, SWIRCA provides innovative answers, comprehensive services, and caring support to the most vulnerable in our community. We help older adults and family caregivers navigate the complexities of accessing in-home and community-based services and long-term care.

For this TBT, we are thanking all of our supporters over that past 52 years SWIRCA has been here. We have changed a lot and we have our sponsors, volunteers, Activity Center members, visitors, staff, and event-goers to thank for that expansion.

🤝🫶We have fundraising events so we can raise money to have programs, equipment, instructors, etc. to give the aging, disabled, and caregivers in our community updated resources and a safe place to socialize, exercise, and enjoy life.

We want to thank First Presbyterian Church - Evansville, Indiana who hosted our Memory Café last week. They gave us a tour of their sanctuary and told us the history of this beautiful church that has been around for hundreds of years. Their musical director played the pipe organs for us. It was an amazing experience that was enjoyed by all attendees. We want to thank the pastor and staff of this church. We also want to thank a special couple that attends our Memory Café, who put together wonderful snacks, drinks, and prizes for those who attended. This was our first outing for our Memory Café and it was a success. Thank you again!

We want to once again thank supporters who attended our Keys & Cocktails event in July. In fact, we are extremely grateful to all who have attended any of our fundraising events. Your support has helped us continue to provide classes like our Chair Yoga you see here as well as a safe space for a number of activities including Clabber and a new, updated place for daily lunch on week days.

We just want you to see where your dollars go when you come to SWIRCA for a fun time. You truly should leave here feeling great about how you spent your evening and your hard-earned money. We won't let it go to waste! 🫶
