My second passion: Skin Cancer Screenings ❤️
While many people know me for aesthetics, Botox, fillers, and helping patients feel confident in their skin, my second passion has always been skin cancer detection and prevention.
For the last 10 years, a major part of my practice has been performing full-body skin cancer screenings from head to toe. Every freckle, mole, spot, and lesion tells a story, and sometimes those stories can save lives.
This mission is deeply personal to me.
Years ago, my uncle had a suspicious lesion that concerned him. Unfortunately, he felt his concerns were dismissed and he wasn’t offered a dermatology appointment for 9 months. When the lesion was finally evaluated, it was diagnosed as melanoma. We lost him just a year later….
Because of what my family went through, I made a promise to myself: I will always listen when a patient tells me they are worried about a spot. Even if it turns out to be nothing, your concerns deserve to be heard, validated, and taken seriously.
If you come to see me with a lesion that has changed, a mole that worries you, or simply a feeling that something isn’t right, I want you to know that I will take the time to look carefully and thoroughly. No concern is too small.
The reality is that when skin cancer is caught early, lives can be saved. A simple examination today can make all the difference tomorrow.
If I can leave any legacy behind in medicine, I hope it’s this: that I helped people feel heard, that I educated patients about their skin, and that I saved lives by finding skin cancers when they were still treatable.
If it’s been a while since your last skin check—or if you have a spot that just doesn’t seem right—schedule an appointment. Let’s take a look together.
Because sometimes the spot you’re worried about really does matter.
