FEMININE HYGIENE DRIVE IS BACK!

Last September, our community showed UP for our Feminine Hygiene Drive, and we were absolutely blown away by the amount of donations we were able to collect. 💕 So of course… we’re doing it again, and this year we want to make it even bigger.

Throughout the entire month of September, Crescent City Collective will be collecting feminine hygiene and personal care products to be donated to our local Salvation Army on Fulton Avenue and distributed to people in our community who need them.

We’re collecting things like:

* Pads & tampons
* Panty liners
* Menstrual products
* Feminine wipes
* New, unopened underwear
* Body wash & soap
* Deodorant
* Other unopened feminine hygiene/personal care necessities

✨ Our goal this year: beat what we collected last year! ✨

There will be a donation box set up inside Crescent City Collective, so you can bring items with you to your appointment or stop in and drop something off.

Period products and basic hygiene necessities aren’t luxuries. They’re things everyone deserves to have access to, and even throwing one box of tampons or pads into the donation bin makes a difference.

Last year proved just how much we can do when everybody contributes a little. Let’s see what Evansville can do this year. 💗

I get tons of opinions on the fact that I wear gloves from strangers on the internet, usually other massage therapists.

Thankfully, their opinions don’t matter. 🙂‍↔️

We missed her “formal” anniversary, but happy (late) 3 YEARS to Jacqueline with Unwind Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, LLC at Crescent City Collective!! 🤎🥳

Jacqueline gives you so much more than a massage. It’s an entire experience. You walk into her room and can literally feel the stress start falling off of you.

There’s a reason she’s up there with the best year after year, receiving award after award and SO much praise for what she does. She is damn good at her job and deserves every single flower she receives. 💐

We are so lucky she found a home here with us and we love getting to watch her and her business continue to grow.

Happy 3 years, Jacqueline!! We love you and are so glad you’re here.

I’m a massage therapist, and I genuinely believe there are more than enough clients to go around.

There really doesn’t need to be competition in this field.

Even if it feels like your city is saturated with massage therapists, there are still going to be way more people who need bodywork than there are massage therapists.

When we start looking at other therapists as competition, we’re coming from a scarcity mindset. If you’re trying to build your business, I think it’s important to approach it from a place of abundance instead of scarcity. There is enough work to go around.

Plus, not everyone is your ideal client. Even if you feel like you can help everyone, which you probably can, another therapist might still be a better fit for them.

Even if we took the exact same classes and learned the exact same techniques, we all bring our own energy into the session.

Because while yes, there is anatomy and science behind what we do, there’s also an art to it. No two artists are going to create the exact same thing, even if they’re working with the same tools and techniques.

It’s really important that the client and the service provider feel comfortable with each other.

I personally have no problem referring someone to another therapist if I think they’re going to be a better fit. We all have different specialties and things that we’re good at.

There is room for all of us.
