Hey friends, I’ve been getting a lot of backlash for not replying on Sundays or Mondays, so I wanna clear some things up.
I work two jobs. Sundays and Mondays are my only days off. And by that, I mean I’m not PHYSICALLY at work. But more often than not, I’m still working, or I’m trying to manage my responsibilities and relationships outside of work. Very rarely do I spend my days off doing NOTHING.
So if unless I go out of my way to explicitly say otherwise, yes, we are still on for our appointment at the beginning of the upcoming week. If you need to cancel, I will acknowledge it. If you need the address to the shop, it’s posted on the page, or you can Google the shop and pull up the address that way (Revolution Ink). If a message is time sensitive, I will reach out/ reply. But I spend 70% of my job (both of them really) managing social media and talking to past and potential clients. So I will be taking my two days off to handle things that my jobs don’t leave me time to do during the work week.
The shop is NOT open on Sundays and Mondays. I don’t even have a key to the new shop yet, if I WANTED to go in on my days off. I would have to get a shop member who DOES have a key to open the shop for me on those off days. And I will not be doing that.
I was at the old shop all the time, answering messages and tattoo 7 days a week because I was the ONLY ARTIST AVAILABLE and I had to step up during some difficult times. And I’m glad that during those times, I was able to accommodate people and help manage that shop. But please understand that now that I’m not in that position anymore, I will be trying to take more time for myself.
