MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is more than a meditation class — it’s an opportunity to learn practical, supportive ways to bring mindfulness into everyday life.
Over the course of the program, we explore mindfulness through guided meditation, gentle movement, breath awareness, body scan practices, mindful listening and communication, reflection exercises, group conversation, and lessons about stress, resilience, and self-awareness.
There’s space to learn, practice, ask questions, and connect with others in a genuine and supportive way.
One of the most meaningful parts of MBSR is the sense of connection that develops in the group. Through practicing together and sharing honest conversation, people often feel less alone and more understood. By the end of the program, many participants say they’re surprised by how connected they feel — and how sad they are for it to end.
It’s true that committing to an MBSR course can feel difficult when life is already full. Adding one more thing to the calendar isn’t always easy. But participants often discover that the practices don’t just stay within the class — they begin to support every part of life: relationships, work, sleep, health, stress, and the ability to meet challenges with greater steadiness and compassion.
MBSR isn’t about doing mindfulness perfectly. It’s about learning simple ways to come back to yourself, again and again, with awareness and kindness.
We’ve got new class series starting 5/31. One for adults and one strictly for teens. We’d love nothing more than to practice with you.
