Your fascia and lymphatic system work closely together. Lymph doesn’t move through an empty space—it travels through living connective tissue. When that tissue becomes tight, dehydrated, restricted, or less mobile, the mechanical environment around the lymphatic vessels can change.

That’s one reason I often combine fascia work with lymphatic-focused treatments.

Fascia blasting uses specialized tools and controlled techniques to work with the connective tissue, helping improve tissue mobility, circulation, and hydration. By addressing areas of restriction, fascia work may help create a more favorable environment for normal fluid movement and can complement lymphatic drainage techniques.

This combination may be especially helpful for people experiencing feelings of tightness, heaviness, puffiness, tissue congestion, restricted movement, or stubborn areas that simply don’t feel like they’re moving well.

The goal isn’t to aggressively “force” lymph through the body. It’s to support healthier movement in the tissues surrounding the lymphatic system.

Your body doesn’t work in separate pieces. Your vascular, nervous, lymphatic, and fascial systems are constantly communicating with one another, and when one system is struggling, it can affect how the entire body feels and functions.

Shannon Hendricks creates customized treatments designed around what your body actually needs. With over 22 years of experience and extensive training in bodywork, fascia, lymphatic drainage, nervous system support, stretching, recovery, sound therapy, NeuFit and more, every session can be tailored to address multiple systems at the same time.

Whether your goal is improved circulation, better lymphatic flow, nervous system regulation, healthier fascia, pain relief, mobility, recovery, or simply helping your body function more efficiently, your treatment is customized specifically for you.

Don’t just chase symptoms. Support the systems behind them.

Your body is always communicating with you. Sometimes pain, tension, fatigue, digestive issues, headaches, tight muscles, or that feeling of being “stuck” can be a sign that your body needs more attention, rest, movement, support, or nervous-system regulation.

I work with the body from several different angles to help you reconnect with what you’re feeling physically and emotionally. With over 22 years of experience and a wide range of certifications, I combine techniques based on what your body needs that day.

Sessions may include deep tissue and therapeutic massage, fascia blasting, lymphatic drainage, stretching, NeuFit/Neubie training and recovery, cupping, scraping, red light therapy, Acutonics sound therapy, energy work, and nervous-system focused bodywork.

Hardened, dehydrated fascia and chronic muscle tension can limit movement, contribute to discomfort, and make the body feel restricted. My goal is to help improve mobility, circulation, lymphatic flow, tissue quality, relaxation, and overall body awareness while giving your nervous system a chance to settle.

The emotional meanings shown in this image can be a useful self-reflection tool, but physical symptoms can also have medical causes. Bodywork is supportive care and should not replace medical evaluation when symptoms are new, severe, or persistent.

Hardened, crunchy fascia can affect much more than how your body feels. When fascia becomes tight, dehydrated, thickened or stuck, it can create restrictions around muscles, nerves, blood vessels and lymphatic pathways. That can leave areas feeling tender, congested, swollen, stiff or difficult to move freely.

Those tight fascial restrictions can also put pressure around important areas of the body where circulation, lymphatic flow and nerve signaling need space to function well. Releasing and rehydrating the fascia may help improve mobility, reduce areas of tension, support circulation and encourage healthier lymphatic flow.

Shannon Hendricks is a Fascia Blasting Specialist and Lymphatic Drainage Specialist with extensive experience working with stubborn, restricted tissue. Treatments are customized to what your body needs and may combine fascia blasting, lymphatic drainage, stretching, bodywork and other supportive techniques.

If your body feels tight, crunchy, swollen, stuck or restricted, it may be time to address the fascia instead of only working the muscles.

Hot Bodies Co now offers red light massage tables as a free upgrade to your session.

Red light therapy is a powerful add-on that may help support lymphatic flow, improve circulation, boost mitochondrial function and cellular energy, reduce inflammation, enhance recovery, support relaxation and may even help with skin rejuvenation.

Because mitochondrial health plays an important role in how the body produces energy, supporting the mitochondria may also support overall wellness and lymphatic function.

If you are looking for a simple way to upgrade your massage experience and give your body extra recovery support, ask about our red light massage table at your next visit.

What if your body could experience sound—not just hear it?

Acutonics Sound Therapy uses planetary tuning forks to bring vibration directly into the body, creating harmonies that may support grounding, relaxation, energetic balance and emotional release.

Different combinations carry different intentions:

Ohm — grounding, centering and calming
New Moon — release, renewal and new beginnings
Full Moon — nurturing, intuition and emotional integration
Sun — vitality, confidence and activation
Zodiac — expansion, flow and energetic movement
Earth — stability, strength and connection to the body

Sessions can also include frequencies associated with Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron, depending on what your body and energy may need that day.

I can combine Acutonics with massage, fascia work, stretching and other bodywork for a deeply personalized mind-body experience.
