There is a part of RSS that people don't talk about or even consider...these are the things that may or may not be a part of services....ESPECIALLY the property destruction...or the fact that much of what happens in our own lives...like moving day, refreshing/renovating our homes while we live in them, happen in group home settings. After all, support homes are supposed to mirror other homes in the community just like those WITHOUT disabilities. The good AND bad part is that most of our home maintenance issues can be resolved by us...because otherwise, the costs to maintain would be unobtainable in reality. Just thought I'd share some food for thought for those that believe the resources are unlimited...because they are not.
