Fall/Halloween decorating has begun! First time I’ve had a bale of straw.

This is the African Violet I propagated using a leaf from the mother plant. It took well over a year to get to this stage.

Never having done this before, I’m not quite sure what to expect when I take it out of the cup to examine root growth. I’m wondering if there will be what looks like two or maybe three separate plants with roots or if there will just be one root mass for all three babies? Does anyone have hands on experience with this propagation method?

Fall, after the nor’easter that spent the past 5 days pounding us with wind and rain. Thankfully, the sum pump is doing what it’s supposed to do. 💜🕊️🌿

This is from the wedding I officiated last Saturday. Lovely weather, the sweetest couple, great families, and a heartfelt ceremony!

These are some of my downstairs Schlumbergera seedlings of various ages and stages. These are pretty young compared to my upstairs seedlings. Hoping the ones upstairs have a lot of bloomers this fall/winter so I can thin them out.
