Hydrate & Fuel: "Tattooing is a marathon, not a sprint. Eat a balanced meal and drink plenty of water before your appointment to keep your blood sugar steady and reduce pain sensitivity."

Skip the Alcohol: "Save the celebration for after the ink! Alcohol thins your blood, which can cause excess bleeding during your session and make it harder for the artist to work."

Dress for Success: "Wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives us easy access to the area we’re working on—and don't worry about it getting a little ink on it!"
