For those who might not know, the iButton is a tiny thermal sensor we embed into our custom braces. It objectively tracks exact wear-time, giving our orthotists, patients, parents and doctors clear, honest data to celebrate successes and fine-tune their care plan.

In the journey of managing scoliosis, a custom brace can only do its job if it’s being worn. To keep curves from progressing, our patients have to do the heavy lifting—and Taylor is absolutely crushing it.

We’ve introduced new EOS imaging technology at National Scoliosis Center's Fairfax, Virginia, office, including both standing and seated (chair-based) imaging options.

EOS provides low-dose, full-body X-ray imaging that captures the spine in a weight-bearing or seated position, supporting detailed assessment and ongoing monitoring of scoliosis.

It’s the most common question we get when an almost-12-year-old like Sloane is diagnosed. The answer? Anything you want!

Learning to style a brace takes practice, but it shouldn't stop you from looking great. Sloane is showing us how to keep it comfortable, breezy, and cute while wearing her Rigo Cheneau brace. 🦋

Sloane’s Summer Brace-Style Tips:

👗 Flowy Dresses: Your best friend! Maxi and midi dresses with a flowy skirt are the easiest way to wear your brace. If you prefer to wear the brace over your clothes, a loose dress provides effortless coverage.

🦋 Butterfly Shorts: These are a fantastic option! They are loose around the legs, comfortable, and perfect for warm weather (and Sloane wears them wonderfully!).
