A simple, hydrating summer snack! 🍑✨

Fresh peaches are naturally high in water and provide vitamin C, fiber, potassium, and beneficial antioxidants—making them a delicious choice while they’re in season.

But when it comes to fruit, I follow one simple food combining principle: eat it alone.

🍑 Keep fruit separate: Enjoy your peach on an empty stomach or as a stand-alone snack between meals.

🍑 Support digestion: If you’re prone to bloating or digestive discomfort, paying attention to when and how you eat fruit may help you better understand what works for your body.

🍑 Hydrate with your food: Water-rich foods like peaches can contribute to your overall daily hydration while providing important nutrients at the same time.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s as simple as choosing fresh, seasonal foods—and being mindful of how you eat them. 🌿

Enjoy those summer peaches while they’re still here! 🍑

No leftovers in the fridge? This is one of my favorite quick lunches. 👇🥗

I always keep a few simple staples on hand for days when I haven’t had time to prep—and canned tuna is one of them.

This Spinach Tuna Salad is quick, satisfying, and a perfect example of how I practice food combining in my own meals:

🐟 Tuna provides protein to help keep you satisfied and support steady blood sugar.

🥬 Spinach gives you a nutrient-rich base without making the meal feel heavy.

🥒 Cucumbers and tomatoes add crunch, fiber, hydration, and plenty of flavor.

One of the food combining principles I teach is simple: pair your protein with non-starchy vegetables. It’s an easy way to build a balanced meal while supporting digestion.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean complicated recipes or hours of meal prep. Sometimes it’s just about having the right foods on hand.

Need a simple snack that follows my food combining principles? 👇✨

When that afternoon hunger hits, it’s easy to reach for crackers, chips, or something processed—but there are plenty of ways to get that same satisfying crunch with real food.

These buffalo cauliflower bites are a great example. 🥦🔥

✨ Cauliflower is a non-starchy vegetable that provides fiber along with a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

✨ Buffalo sauce adds plenty of flavor and turns a simple vegetable into a snack that actually feels satisfying.

✨ Bake or air-fry instead of deep frying for a lighter way to get that crispy texture.

This is what I want people to understand about eating well: it doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. Finding simple ways to make real food taste good can make healthy choices much easier to stick with.

Real food. Simple choices. Better habits. 🤍

One supplement I’m especially mindful of heading into fall and winter? Vitamin D. ☀️

As our sun exposure decreases, so can our ability to maintain optimal Vitamin D levels—and Vitamin D plays a much bigger role in the body than most people realize.

It helps support:
✨ Healthy immune function
✨ Bone and muscle health
✨ A healthy inflammatory response
✨ Hormonal and metabolic health

And because it can be difficult to get adequate Vitamin D from food alone, supplementation may be an important part of your fall and winter wellness routine.

Why I recommend NutraMetrix Isotonix Vitamin D with K2:

☀️ Vitamin D3 + K2 — K2 works alongside Vitamin D to help support proper calcium utilization and bone health.

☀️ Isotonic delivery — The powder formula is designed for efficient absorption, which is something I’m always thinking about when supporting clients with digestive concerns.

☀️ Whole-body support — Vitamin D is one of those nutrients that touches so many areas of health, from immune function to inflammation, bones, muscles, and metabolism.

One important reminder: more isn’t always better. I recommend checking your Vitamin D levels through blood work so you know what your body actually needs.

If you’re looking for the Vitamin D + K2 I use and recommend in my practice, you can find it through the NutraMetrix storefront linked in my bio. 🤍

It’s the most frustrating phrase you can hear when you're searching for answers: "Everything looks normal."

But you know your body better than a standard lab panel. You know that planning your entire week around how your stomach might react, or accepting daily exhaustion as just "getting older," isn't how you want to live.

Your symptoms shouldn't decide whether you go to dinner, take the vacation, or say yes to plans. They aren't random, and they aren't in your head.

Let's figure out what your body is actually asking for.

You shouldn't have to plan your life around your stomach. 💚

If bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, or unpredictable digestion are affecting what you eat, where you go, or how comfortable you feel going out, it may be time to look deeper.

Your digestive symptoms are your body's way of telling you something needs attention—and sometimes simple changes in nutrition, food combining, and lifestyle can make a meaningful difference.

If you're tired of guessing and want to better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms, schedule a complimentary call with me through the link in my bio.

Let's talk about what you've been experiencing and what your next step could look like.

Want to soothe gut inflammation with something you already have in your kitchen? 🍅

One of my favorite ways to support a healthy microbiome is with tomatoes. They are packed with lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that helps fight inflammation right in your digestive tract.

Plus, their high water and fiber content helps keep digestion moving smoothly! 💧

Pro tip: Cooking your tomatoes with a little olive oil actually increases the absorption of these gut-healing nutrients.

How do you like to enjoy your tomatoes? 🥗

What if one simple change to your dinner could help reduce bloating and support weight loss? 🍽️

One of the principles I teach is food combining. Instead of pairing animal protein with starchy carbohydrates, try building your plate around protein and non-starchy vegetables. 🥦

Tonight's dinner:
🐟 Broiled salmon
🥣 Mashed cauliflower
🥬 Sautéed bok choy
🥗 Fresh string bean salad

It's satisfying, nutrient-dense, and one of my favorite ways to support digestion while staying full and energized. Remember, healthy eating isn't about restriction—it's about learning how to work with your body. ✨

Have you ever tried replacing your starchy side with extra vegetables?
