Career Day at CCA!

Our students explored a variety of career paths and learned about the many opportunities available to them! From nursing to psychology and beyond, our amazing parent volunteers shared their experiences, skills, and insights to help students imagine their futures.

COMING SOON: CINCINNATI GIVES!

CCA is getting ready for the 2026 Cincinnati Gives Challenge, and we need YOU!

The Cincinnati Gives Challenge is a friendly fundraising competition where local charities compete to raise the most money, with the top teams winning cash prizes from Cincinnati Magazine.

📅 November 30 at 5 p.m. ET – December 10 at 5 p.m. ET

Our goal: Raise $10,000 in 10 days!

Your support will help provide meaningful educational experiences, hands-on STEM activities, technology, and resources that help our students learn, grow, explore their interests, and build skills for the future.

Stay tuned for exciting raffle prizes, ways to give, and how you can be part of making a difference!

🍎 We all have that teacher who made a lasting impact on our lives.

The one who believed in us, pushed us to reach our potential, made us smile, or reminded us that we mattered.

Sometimes, it's the smallest moments of encouragement and kindness that stay with us long after we've left the classroom.

At Cincinnati Center for Autism, we know how meaningful that connection can be. Our educators do so much more than teach lessons. They build confidence, celebrate progress, and help students discover what they're capable of.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: JESSICA NEYER

Meet Jessica Neyer, one of our Occupational Therapists at CCA. Jessica brings creativity, compassion, and a whole lot of heart to her work with our students. Get to know Jessica a little better below!

Role: Occupational Therapist

What is one aspect of your role at CCA that often surprises people?

“Most of it! Many people I talk to aren't familiar with occupational therapy or they know of it in a rehabilitative post-injury space. Occupational therapy's goal is to help individuals do what they want and need to do. So, in a school setting that could be sensory regulation so you can listen to your teacher, helping strengthen hand and core muscles to be able to write, or understand the sequence of making a PB&J for lunch!”

What do you enjoy most about working at CCA?

“That no 2 sessions are the same! With the big age range and variety of goals, it's always interesting.”

If you could choose a superpower to help you in your role at CCA, what would it be and why?

“I've always wanted the power to heal myself and others.”

What is a fun or interesting fact about you that people might not know?

“I've taught one of my pet rabbits to give high fives on command!”

Describe CCA in one word.

“Kind”

What makes being part of the CCA community special to you?

“It is overwhelmingly a kind and considerate community. People truly want to do what is best for the students and each other!”

Our students had an amazing Field Day filled with movement and creativity!
From learning new soccer skills with FC Cincinnati to dancing at our sensory-friendly dance party, creating in our art space, and taking on our October-themed obstacle course complete with ghost bowling, there was something for everyone!

We love creating opportunities for our students to play, explore, move, create, and just have FUN!

A huge thank you to our incredible community partners, FC Cincinnati and the Flying Pig Marathon for helping make the day so special and continuing to support our students and CCA!

How cool is this?

We are incredibly grateful to the Ohio Garrison - 501st Legion for choosing the Cincinnati Center for Autism as the beneficiary of their fundraising efforts during this year’s Cincinnati Comic Expo.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped to support their efforts! A special thank you to the Ohio Garrison - 501st Legion and their fellow costumers for making CCA part of such a fun Cincinnati tradition.

A huge thank you to the incredible Star Wars community supporting Cincinnati Center for Autism!

We are so grateful to the Ohio Garrison - 501st Legion, Apollo Base – Rebel Legion, DroidBuilders, and Rancor Clan – Ohio Mandalorian Mercs Chapter for coming together at Cincinnati Comic Expo this weekend to collect donations for CCA!
If you're at Cincinnati Comic Expo this weekend, be sure to stop by their booth, say hello, take a photo, and learn more about the amazing work these groups do in our community!

And if you're looking for even more fun, check out their panels Saturday, including Cosplaying in a Galaxy Far, Far Away at 1 PM and Droid Building Basics at 2 PM.

Together with Apollo Base - Rebel Legion , DroidBuilders , and Rancor Clan (OH Mandalorian Mercs Chapter) ; we will be at the convention all weekend collecting donations for the Cincinnati Center for Autism ! Be sure to stop by our booth to grab a photo, say hello, and donate a credit or two!

Our students had an AMAZING time getting up close with some very cool and very unique, animals today! From snakes and a turtle to a chinchilla and bearded dragon, there was so much to see, learn about, and enjoy. 💚

A huge THANK YOU to for bringing this interactive experience to CCA and creating such a fun, engaging opportunity for our students! We loved seeing their curiosity, excitement, and smiles as they met each of the animals.
