🎉 A New Chapter for Healthcare on the Eastern Shore! 🎉

Thomas Hospital celebrated a major milestone today with a ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, marking the opening of our new, state-of-the-art patient care tower!

The four-story tower represents a significant investment in the future of healthcare and will help Thomas Hospital meet the growing needs of Baldwin County. The new tower includes:

🏥 25 medical-surgical beds to expand patient care capacity
❤️ A new and expanded Cath Lab, scheduled for completion in the spring of 2027
🔹 One floor of shelled space for future growth and expansion
🚁 A rooftop helipad to support emergency access

We are incredibly grateful to our physicians, nurses, employees, volunteers, boards, community partners, construction teams, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Today, we celebrate more than a new building. We celebrate an investment in the communities that Thomas Hospital serves and the future of healthcare in Baldwin County. 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined Infirmary Health and FOX10 for our free heart health screenings in Bay Minette, Mobile and Fairhope, even in the rain!

Community members received quick, no-fasting screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes, with results in just five minutes. Events like this are all about helping you know your numbers and take charge of your health.

The first 100 participants will receive:
✔️ Free instant-read cholesterol screening (simple finger prick)
✔️ Free blood pressure check
✔️ Fasting is not required

If you arrive after the first 100 cholesterol screenings, you can still receive a free blood pressure check.
