Welcome to part two of our “Get to Know Alyssa” series where we introduce Alyssa Leger, the driver of our 𝙃𝙊𝙋𝙀 𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 mobile cancer screening bus.

I am so excited to be part of this MCA team and the launch of this new vehicle into the outreach program. It’s allowing me to learn and be a part of something that is serving several communities throughout Kansas and western Missouri. We will bring information and screenings to those who don’t have easy access normally. I look forward to it!

Update for National Cancer Survivors Day this Sunday, June 7th:

Due to predicted severe weather and thunderstorms, our celebration will be held INDOORS from 9am - noon.

We will still see you this Sunday for connection, support, and celebration!

Congratulations to MCA member site Greeley County Health Services on the grants they recently received! These grants will make a big impact in oncology care in Greeley County and beyond.

Thirty-nine Kansas organizations are receiving $79.1 million in grants from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to improve rural healthcare.
