Big news!

We're excited to officially announce our Rally for Repairs on July 14 at South Station in Boston.

As private equity firms continue to buy up major wheelchair repair companies, wheelchair users are paying the price. Delays that once lasted days now stretch into weeks and months, leaving people stranded without the equipment they rely on to work, attend school, get to medical appointments, and live independently.

That's why we're coming together. Join wheelchair users, families, caregivers, advocates, providers, and allies as we raise awareness about the wheelchair repair crisis, share our stories, and hold the industry accountable.

This is our chance to show the public what these delays really mean and why change can't wait.

Register today: tinyurl.com/Rally4Repairs

The more people who show up, the harder this issue will be to ignore.

SCIL was proud to attend IL Education Day at the State House yesterday, hosted by MA SILC. Alongside fellow IL staff and advocates, we worked to raise awareness about key Independent Living priorities and their impact on our communities.

Our team also had the opportunity to meet directly with legislators, engaging in meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to the Independent Living movement.
