The practice of yoga through breathing and moving meditation has brought not only an increased flexibility but more stability to my body and more importantly my mind. Through my practice I have achieved an overall calm and balanced demeanour, allowing me to tackle the ever increasing pressures and stresses that every day life throws my way.

Okie dokie… this is one of those facts that once you know it.... you for sure can’t unknow it.
95% of your serotonin.... the chemical most associated with feeling calm, grounded and happy.... is produced in your gut. Not your brain.
But it goes so much further than mood. Your gut is home to around 70% of your entire immune system. It regulates inflammation throughout your whole body. It produces neurotransmitters that influence your focus, your energy and your emotional resilience. And it communicates constantly with your brain via the vagus nerve.... a direct two-way communication highway that connects everything.
So when your gut is struggling.... inflamed, stressed, lacking diversity in its bacteria.... those signals don’t stay local. They travel. Up to your brain affecting your mood & anxiety. Out to your immune system affecting how well you fight illness & manage inflammation. Into your metabolism affecting how you process energy.
And when your nervous system is dysregulated from chronic stress, poor sleep or too much high-intensity exercise without recovery.... those signals travel right back down and disrupt your gut in return. It is one completely connected system.
This is why tending to your gut matters so much more than most people realise. The food you eat, the way you breathe, the quality of your sleep, how you manage stress.... it all feeds directly into the system that runs your immunity, your mood and your energy. Every single day.
Your gut is not just doing digestion. It is running the whole show.

I always want to be efficient so try to do ALL the things at the ONE TIME!!! This time I chose not to do it for an external reason....I needed this time for me. (I was smart too and I listened!!!)
