💓 CoroFlow system: Inova is among the first programs nationwide to offer an advanced platform used during cardiac catheterization to assess blood flow in both major arteries and tiny blood vessels of the heart. CoroFlow is available at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Loudoun Hospital hospitals.

🔬 Cardiac PET/CT: A noninvasive advanced imaging technology that measures blood flow to the heart muscle, enabling more precise detection and evaluation of heart disease.

A multidisciplinary team at Inova Fairfax Hospital came together to develop a sturdier IV pole design – creating an innovative solution to improve safety for both patients and frontline nurses. 🩺

The redesigned IV poles can support up to 12 pumps and include a more efficient ICU manifold holder. After more than six months of evaluation, the team achieved a 100% reduction in IV-pole-related safety incidents.
