What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) ?
PRP is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains (& releases through degranulation) several different growth factors and cytokines that stimulate healing of bone and soft tissue.
