The last day of school is here!🎉
As routines change and summer begins, one thing that matters most is staying connected. Whether it’s late-night talks, backyard adventures or simple check-ins throughout the day, these moments help children feel supported, safe and seen.

Tonight, celebrate the memories made this school year — and the new ones waiting this summer. ☀️

Need a few easy ways to keep the conversations going this summer? We’ve got simple tips to help: https://bit.ly/4uW4OYZ

Every baby deserves a safe start. 💙

DYK? Many sleep-related infant deaths are linked to unsafe sleep environments. Safe sleep practices can help reduce the risk of SUID (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death).

Remember:
✔️ Always place babies on their backs to sleep
✔️ Use a firm, flat sleep surface
✔️ Keep cribs free of pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals
✔️ Avoid bed sharing

Small changes can save lives. Please help us spread awareness and keep babies safe.

🧠May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental health is part of everyday health—for kids and parents.

💛From conversations to small connection moments, it all adds up. Because feeling seen, heard and supported can make a big difference. Keep showing up—one moment, one check-in, one conversation at a time.

Give your baby a healthy start with the HepB birth dose so they can focus on what matters most: learning and growing. 🌱🤸‍♂️

Vaccination at birth provides a layer of protection during your baby’s most vulnerable time. Many people with hepatitis B do not know they have it, including family members or caregivers.

Early protection = lifelong impact 🌟

Today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at the Resource & Recovery Center exceeded even our highest expectations 🩷 We extend our most sincere 'thank you' to everyone who joined us to celebrate this important milestone! 👏

It was said many times today, but bears repeating: this project would not have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of SO many community partners, organizations and individuals. Special thanks to Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce for helping to coordinate today's event and to our partners, Family HealthCare, Presentation Partners in Housing, and Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic, for sharing their perspectives!

We're both humbled and grateful for the support shown today and we look forward to the positive impact this new resource will have in our community!

When young people experience the death of a peer or someone in their community, it can bring up overwhelming emotions, questions, fear, sadness, anger or anxiety. Every child responds differently, and there is no “right” way to grieve.

As parents and caring adults, one of the most important things we can do is create space for conversation, reassurance and connection. Check in often, listen more than you speak and remind your child they are not alone.

Here are ways you can support your child:
💙 Talk openly and honestly at an age-appropriate level
💙Keep routines as consistent as possible
💙Encourage healthy coping and connection
💙Reach out for additional support when needed

Please remember: it is okay to ask for help, and support matters for both youth and adults.

Your body was made to do amazing things. 💗 You trusted it to carry life — trust it as it learns to nourish life.

Breastfeeding is a journey, not perfection. Every drop, every cuddle, every moment of connection counts. 🌸 Reach out for support, ask questions and trust yourself. You and your baby are learning together.
