Hello! I am Shelby Tagestad, the owner of Winks & Ink Permanent Makeup Studio. Due to health issues, I'm having to quit my business of 10 years.
I'm looking for someone to buy and take over my business who's:
1. Not a complete beginner
2. Offers/Specializes in Powder Brows

I'm currently renting from Posh (1310 23rd St Fargo, ND 58103 - nice central Fargo area) and have a fully furnished room that is ready to go. On top of this, you will get all my machines & supplies, my business name/branding & business pages (if wanted), my knowledge, and I will refer all my clients to you. Once again, I am not looking for an absolute beginner, but an artist who wants to take over or take their business to the next level!

This is not a post I want to be writing, but unfortunately, is reality. With teary eyes, I have to announce that after 10 years in the PMU industry, I will be closing my doors at Winks & Ink Studio the end of this year. My health has not gotten better and I am left with more questions than answers. This has made tattooing incredibly difficult. I never know how I'm going to feel day to day, and many times, have to cancel procedures or struggle through them. Ultimately, this has made running my business not a viable option in many aspects. My health needs to come first.
That being said, I am not taking new clients. I will complete all touchups as scheduled and I ask any of my current clients who want a touchup to reach out to me now. Online booking is closed, so please reach out to me directly through my FB page or text to schedule.
( Also, I know I issued a gift certificate this year, please reach out to me if you see this. I apologize that my memory is not the best.)
I will try my best to fit everyone in before the end of the year, but that may not be possible. Your understanding is so appreciated.
I want to thank all my incredibly wonderful clients and friends I've made over the years. Without you, this little dream of mine couldn't have become what it is today. Seeing your lovely faces, chatting with you, getting to know you, and seeing your happy tears & smiles has brought so much joy to my life. I will miss this 🥹♥️
I also want to thank my instructor Kristina Melnicenco . Training with you was one of the best decisions of my life. You made me into the confident PMU artist I am today. You are forever an inspiration to me ♥️ Love ya Kristi!

IMPORTANT UPDATE - PLEASE READ:

Hello to all my beautiful clients ❤️
As some of you know, I've been having worsening/changing migraines over the past 9 months.
Just recently, the symptoms & frequency have become so severe that I went to the E.R. for an attack that presented like a stroke. Unfortunately because they affect my vision (on top of an array of symptoms) it's made it impossible to work.

If you have an upcoming appointment, this doesn't necessarily mean we need to reschedule! It's just a heads up that I could have an attack during the procedure. In that case, we have to wait for it to subside. If I have an attack before your procedure, I may ask you to reschedule. For those with upcoming appointments, I will be in contact with you. If you want to reschedule, I 100% understand, and please let me know 👍

Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding and patient while I navigate this difficult situation. I really appreciate you all!

In the meantime, I will only be taking 1 client per day and more days off. I'm hopeful that my doctor will find a cause or medication that works. I will update everyone when I know more.

* People with vascular (veiny) eyelids are not good candidates for Softliner or Stardust Eyeliner. The risk of pigment migration is too high.
* Stardust eyeliner is essentially Softliner but with more shading/eyeshadow.

I love a good brow challenge because they result in the best transformations! 😍 This gorgeous gal has a deep scar in her left brow and was completely missing the tail of her brows. In this case, Powder Brows were the best option to create the illusion of fullness. Scar tissue can be finicky and may require more of a touchup. It will never 100% blend due to the lack of natural hair, but we can at least mask it!
