What rabbit hole did I go down where 160 calories is too many calories for a meal? I want out of this hole. I don’t like it here.
There must be an account somewhere rush said 3 tablespoons of chia seeds is too many calories, and I’m here to tell you that you should unfollow that account. From a nutrition perspective- Food is more than just its calorie content, you also need to assess its nutrient density. It is rich in fiber, high in healthy fats, has some plant based protein, and also contains some calcium, phosphorous, potassium, and iron! At 160 calories, 10 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of protein that can be increased by whatever other ingredients you choose to mix your chia seeds with, chia seeds are a great addition to your diet.
