The Thrivestock Ranch Pastured raised hens have slowed down a little bit with the heat! We are hoping they will be back to laying full production soon! Keep following for when we have more eggs available in Frisco!

Prymal will be in the shop tomorrow.

They’ll be sampling and selling jerky made with grass-fed, grass-finished 2S Ranch beef throughout the day.

If you’re coming for Wednesday milk pickup, take a few extra minutes and try it while they’re here.

A note from Bart:

A lot of people have called to ask about us.

The wind pushed the fire north of 2S Ranch. Thank the Lord, we had no damage here.

Our neighbors north of us were not so fortunate. Their grass is gone. Fences are down. Cattle are scattered and many of them were killed.

Today, Trent and I took our mobile pens in behind the fire. The grass was black on both sides of the road. Trees and utility poles were still burning.

We set up the pens and gathered as many cattle as we could. Two trailer loads are at 2S Ranch now. Trent and the other guys were still up there gathering more when I got back.

We told our neighbors to bring their cattle here. We’ll make room.

Please pray for our neighbors, the volunteer firefighters who worked through the night, and everyone still out there getting animals to safety

The fires around Palo Pinto are hitting our community hard.

The volunteer firefighters battling them are local ranchers and farmers. They worked through the night while ranchers north of us tried to gather scattered cattle and save their herds. We took in two trailers of cattle this morning, and more are coming.

Lone Camp VFD currently needs:

• Peanut butter crackers
• Nutter Butter cookies
• Peanuts
• Plain pretzels
• Honey Stinger energy waffles
• Beef sticks
• Electrolyte packets
• Individually wrapped Tylenol and Advil
• 2-gallon zip-top bags

They are currently covered on water and Gatorade.

Please drop off supplies at The Provision House as soon as possible. We will deliver everything directly to the fire station.

Stocks & Bondy came in today to sample the bolegnese (boh luh nayz) that we sell in the shop. She is an executive chef and makes our prepared meals with our 2S ranch products!
