Facelift, neck lift, and facial fat transfer for a 66-year-old patient, shown at eight months post-op.

The three procedures do three different jobs. The facelift and neck lift reposition tissue that has descended along the jawline and under the chin. The fat transfer replaces volume the face loses over time, using the patient's own fat harvested during the same procedure. Lifting alone can leave a face looking tight and hollow. Adding volume back is what keeps the result looking rested.

Eight months is also the honest timeline. Swelling resolves in stages and the final contour settles over months.
