Just finished. Fascinating book illustrating how growth is determined by the physical environment, not just printed according to instructions from our DNA. For example, muscle is formed in "dilation fields" where the cells are stretched longtiduinally by growth. Where these cells are elongated but then compressed from the sides between skin and bone in "retension fields" (e.g., around the knees and other joints), tendons and ligaments are formed instead of muscle.
