🌿 Do You Love Gardening?
We’re Growing Something New at CenterPeace Farmington! 🌿
As fall begins to arrive, and with our exciting new partnership with Bridget Green and
Elegant Moments Micro Weddings, we’re looking ahead at some beautiful changes coming to the outdoor spaces at CenterPeace Healing & Events Center in Farmington.
We’re looking for a couple of people who genuinely love gardening, growing things, working with the earth, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces who may be interested in becoming part of our garden team.
For this fall, the role will be fairly simple: helping us clean up the existing gardens, tend to what is already here, and prepare the property for winter.
But next spring is where the real fun begins.
As part of our partnership with Elegant Moments Micro Weddings and the continued evolution of the CenterPeace property, we have received approval from the property owners to begin developing a larger-scale community garden, an herb garden, and numerous smaller flower beds throughout the property.
These will be substantial projects, and we know they will take time, creativity, planning, planting, tending, and plenty of hands in the dirt. But we also see the potential for them to become something incredibly fruitful and plentiful, not only for CenterPeace, but for the people helping us create them and the greater community that gathers here.
We’re looking for a couple of dedicated garden stewards who would be excited to take some ownership in helping us envision, develop, plant, maintain, and grow these spaces.
This is primarily a volunteer opportunity, but we absolutely want there to be a meaningful exchange for the time, energy, and love being given to CenterPeace.
Our garden team will receive:
🌱 An unlimited monthly yoga package at the CenterPeace Yoga & Movement Studio in Farmington
🌱 Complimentary admission to one CenterPeace event every month
🌱 Beginning next growing season, the opportunity to take home herbs, vegetables, flowers, and other goodies from the gardens you help create
🌱 First opportunity for occasional paid work connected to Elegant Moments weddings and other special events at CenterPeace
Through our partnership with Elegant Moments, there may occasionally be a need for additional hands to help prepare the outdoor spaces, work with flowers and greenery, assist with setup, and help make the property beautiful for weddings and special events. Our garden team would be the first people we reach out to for those opportunities.
More than anything, we’re hoping to find people who see the possibilities here and would love the experience of watching something grow from the ground up… quite literally. 🌿
