In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to host another HerScan Breast Ultrasound Event on October 8th at our spa! 💗

Breast ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of breast tissue — with no radiation — and can provide additional information when used alongside recommended breast screening. This can be especially helpful for women with dense breast tissue, which can make some breast cancers more difficult to see on a mammogram.

✨ Why consider ultrasound?
• No radiation
• Non-invasive and typically comfortable
• Can help evaluate areas of concern
• May help identify some abnormalities that aren’t as easily seen on mammography, particularly in dense breasts

Most importantly, ultrasound does not replace your routine mammogram. Talk with your healthcare provider about the screening plan that’s right for you and your individual risk factors. 💕
