Kevin Williams, Therapist

Kevin Williams, Therapist I am a multi-licensed therapist with two masters’ degrees in the psychotherapy field. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist.

A Board Certified Art Therapist. I am a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. As a clinical therapist with more than 30 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and their families, I have seen first-hand how lives can become imbalanced, overwhelmed, and discouraged. I became a therapist to help people transform themselves and their families so they can live fuller, healthier and

happier lives. I earned my first masters degree in Art Therapy from the University of New Mexico and became a board-certified art therapist and registered member of the American Art Therapy Association (ATR-BC). Art therapy has been shown to be healing for people who may have issues speaking about their pain, as well as for children who have difficulty verbalizing it. In my art therapy practice, I use art as a diagnostic tool as well as a therapeutic one. After nearly two decades as an art therapist, I went back to school and earned another masters’ degree in marriage and family therapy from John Brown University and became a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). In addition to being an Art Therapist and a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and am working on a degree in Play Therapy, which I will bring to the arsenal of therapeutic tools I use. Over the last 30 years, I have worked with all types of people from all walks of life – children, adolescents, couples, and families. I have helped hundreds of people transform themselves and their families toward healthier and happier lives.

THIS is the most important thing that you’ll hear today. Someone wants to sit with you and hear your story, that someone would rather answer your call for help, than see you at your funeral. Let them be there for you. Be there for them. You’re never a burden, you’re worth every minute. 🫶🏻
