At 10:20 am, new Truck 9, a 2026 Pierce Enforcer 107' rear-mount aerial, was placed into service. At 11:25 am, Truck 9 responded to its first call - a working structure fire in the 400 block of Hallmark Road.
Truck 9 was the first arriving unit and reported smoke and flames visible from a single-story, single-family residence. An aggressive interior attack was made, and the fire was successfully extinguished with no injuries to civilians or firefighters reported. Damage to the home was estimated at approximately $30,000.
All of Fayetteville's Truck companies are equipped with pumps, booster tanks, and preconnected handlines, enabling firefighters to rapidly and aggressively put water on a fire in the event that a Truck company is the first arriving unit.
The Fayetteville Professional Firefighters association would like to thank the citizens of Fayetteville, our elected officials, and city management for providing us with the best possible equipment that we proudly use to protect lives and property each day.
