Meet Jimothy, the unofficial mascot of OTSSDA. 🦝

Jimothy reminds us that disabilities come in all shapes, sizes, and species. Everyone deserves dignity, support, and accommodations—even if they occasionally dig through your trash.

Unfortunately, the forest is outside our service area, so we can’t help Jimothy apply for benefits…

But if you’re a human who needs help navigating Social Security Disability, that’s exactly what we do.

(We still accept snacks on Jimothy’s behalf.)

Jimothy is the disability icon we need and deserve this year. 😆

Jimothy is a raccoon in Seattle who recently became internet famous for his disability. Jimothy likely has a congenital spinal formation that shortened his neck and body. He is a round little raccoon with long legs living the best trash panda life, and in this dumpster of a year we think he is an icon.

(This post is for a little levity and joy. Disability is natural even among our animal kin!)
