And now we’re throwing a flash fundraiser to help our girl actually enjoy that baby without having to stress about rushing back to work. 🥹

Taylor has become such an important part of our Salty Fox family, and anyone who works in the tattoo industry knows that maternity leave looks a little different when you’re an artist, there’s no paid time off waiting for you. If you aren’t tattooing, you aren’t getting paid.

So on November 7th from 10AM–5PM, we’re coming together for her. ❤️

We’ll have a bunch of fun flash available, and all shop proceeds from the event will go directly toward Taylor’s maternity leave so she can stay home, heal, soak up those newborn snuggles, and enjoy this chapter without feeling pressured to get right back behind the tattoo machine.

💜 💛 OUR 5TH ANNUAL SU***DE AWARENESS TATTOO EVENT 💛💜

Hey everyone, Kayla here!
For the fifth year in a row, Salty Fox Tattoo & Piercing is using our art and our platform to raise awareness for su***de prevention and support a cause incredibly close to our hearts.

This year, Taylor Betker will be tattooing specially designed Su***de Awareness flash, with $50, $75 & $100 designs available and 100% of the shop proceeds will be donated to American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. I will be jumping in if I’m needed, otherwise I will be there handing out some flyers that my sweet friend Kristine Lee put together for us with some resources for su***de prevention, there will be refreshments as well.
I truly hope to see so many of the friends who have supported this event alongside me for the past five years. Come get tattooed, come hang out, or simply come help us keep this conversation going.

This tradition began after I lost my father to su***de in 2020. I promised then that I would continue using my voice to advocate for su***de awareness, five years later, we’re still keeping that promise.

This day is for those we’ve lost, the families who carry that loss, those who have survived, and anyone silently fighting a battle no one else can see.

BIG NEWS AT SALTY FOX! 🖤🦊

You guys are about to start seeing Alec around the shop a whole lot more… and here’s why!

For those of you who don’t know, Alec is my oldest child, and we are SO excited to officially announce that he is beginning his piercing apprenticeship at Salty Fox Tattoo & Piercing! ✨

Watching my oldest step into the shop and begin learning a trade of his own is such a special full-circle moment for our family. Salty Fox has always been so much more than just a business to us ’ve built this place with our whole hearts so getting to watch Alec become a part of it in his own way makes it even more meaningful. 🖤

He’ll be spending lots of time in the shop learning everything that goes into professional piercing, sanitation and sterilization, jewelry, anatomy, proper technique, aftercare, client care, and so much more.

An apprenticeship is a process, and he has a lot to learn, but that’s the exciting part! You guys will get to watch him learn, grow, practice, and eventually work his way toward becoming a professional piercer.

So when you start seeing Alec around the shop more, make sure you say hi and show him some love!

A new generation of Salty Fox is officially getting started. 🦊🖤
