Have you ever caught yourself thinking: "I know exactly what I should be doing... so why can't I seem to do it consistently?"

That's where Stacie found herself.

Not because she didn't know what to do.

But because life got loud.

Schedules changed.

Weekends became less structured.

And the consistency she wanted became harder to maintain.

When Stacie shared her struggles, a few things stood out:

• Overconsumption

• Weekends becoming less structured

• More BLTs (bites, licks, and tastes)

• Not listening to hunger

Sound familiar?

What really caught my attention was something else she wrote:

"I want freedom from the diet mindset."

Not another diet.

Not another restart.

Not another set of rules.

Freedom.

Since then, Stacie has lost 65 pounds with Better Body Life.

But more importantly...

She's built confidence.

Consistency.

Awareness.

And trust in herself.

And here's what I've learned after coaching hundreds of women over the years...

Most people don't need a year to start feeling different.

→ Within the first 72 hours, they need a plan.

→ Within 14 days, they need momentum.

→ Within 28 days, they need proof.

Proof that they can stay consistent.

Proof that weekends don't have to derail them.

Proof that vacations don't automatically mean starting over.

Proof that they can trust themselves again.

🤩 That's exactly why Coach Roxanne and I are opening a small group for a FREE 14-Day Summer Reset to anyone NEW to Better Body Life.

No complicated meal plans.

No extreme diets.

No perfection required.

✅ Just 14 days of support, structure, accountability, and momentum designed to help you stop starting over this summer.

A few days ago, Charles and I asked our members a simple question:

"What is the biggest reason you have struggled during the summer?"

The answers were interesting.

Here are some of their EXACT words

Overconsumption.

Snacking.

Missing meals.

Unpredictable schedules.

Too many pivots.

Longer days.

Kids home.

More activities.

The more I read through the comments, the more I realized something.

Maybe summer isn't the problem.

Maybe the problem is what happens when our structure disappears.

Most people don't wake up planning to overeat.

They get busy.

Lunch gets delayed.

They grab a handful of something while making dinner.

One snack turns into a few more.

Dinner gets pushed later.

And before they know it, they're frustrated and wondering what happened.

I know because I've lived it.

One thing that helped me lose over 100 pounds and keep it off for over a decade was learning to recognize these moments before they snowballed.

Not being perfect.

Not having more willpower.

Just paying attention sooner.

So here's something to think about today:

Where do you tend to lose focus first?

Is it missing meals?

Mindless snacking?

Eating while cooking?

Late-night grazing?

Awareness is often the first step toward change.

You don't have to fix everything today.

Just notice.

That alone can be powerful.

Coach Roxanne

P.S. If summer has felt challenging for you in the past, just know you're not alone.

What's one challenge you'd love help solving before July 4th?

We’ve had clients lose 20, 40, up to and surpassing 100 pounds…

…and still feel worried.

Worried that the moment they stop chasing fat loss, it’s all going to come back.

I get it.

Because for so many women, losing weight has never been the hardest part.

Slow? Maybe. But for most, not hard.

But keeping it off?

That’s been the hard.

So when things start feeling good, clothes fit differently, people notice, your body changes, a flood of emotions can come with it.

Excitement.

Pride.

Confidence.

And fear.

What if this doesn’t last?
What if I mess this up?
What if it all comes back?

And honestly, that fear makes sense.

Because most people do regain the weight.

The stats are staggering. Some estimates say 80–95% gain it back within a few years.

But here’s why.

Most regain happens because the process was temporary.

Temporary diet.
Temporary rules.
Temporary motivation.
Temporary restriction.

We hit our ‘scale’ goal and things slowly go back to ‘normal’.

Old habits creep back in.

Eating after dinner.
Eating past full.
One more cocktail here.
More sugar there.

And before long, the weight follows.

This is also why lifestyle change can still accidentally become dieting in disguise.

How can you tell?

Look at your trends.

Weekends. Vacations. Holidays.

If those days keep overpowering the others, it’s worth paying attention.

Stop trying to build a body you have to fight to maintain.

Build a lifestyle that supports the body you want.

And if that lifestyle feels constantly restrictive or depriving… it’s worth asking what your old lifestyle was really supporting.

Weight comes back when old habits come back.

That’s it.

Fat loss isn’t magic.

It’s the result of repeated behaviors. Repeated management of nutrients. Of checking in with how you ‘really’ feel. Hunger, fullness, cravings, fatigue(heaven forbid you actually listen to your body).

And behaviors repeated long enough become normal.

That’s why we focus so much on the basics.

Meal plan.
4 S’s — smoothie, steps, sweat, sips.
Strength training.
Simple habits.

Simple… but repeatable.

You don’t need more rules.

You need something sustainable enough that one day you stop feeling like you’re always trying to lose weight and start feeling like

“This is just how I live now.”

That’s the goal.

To become someone who no longer has to keep starting over.

05/24/2026

Tuesday morning is coming. And I want you to picture yourself.

The version of you that wakes up on Tuesday.

How do you feel?

Not what you weigh!!!

Not whether the scale is up or down.

How do you FEEL?

Will you wake up proud?

Energized?

Calm?

At peace?

Or will you wake up carrying that familiar feeling?

The one that says:

"I wish I hadn't done that."

"I knew better."

"Why do I keep doing this to myself?"

Here's what I've learned after losing over 100 pounds and maintaining it.

The choices that matter most are rarely made in the moment.

They're made before the moment.

When you decide who you want to be.

Because this weekend isn't really about food.

It's about identity.

Every choice you make is casting a vote.

For the person who trusts themself.

Or the person who doesn't.

For the person who stays connected.

Or the person who disappears.

For the person who lives intentionally.

Or the person who lives reactively.

And here's the beautiful thing...

You don't have to be perfect to earn Tuesday morning's respect.

You just have to stay connected to yourself.

Have the burger.

Have the dessert if you want it.

Enjoy the holiday.

Laugh.

Celebrate.

Be present.

Just don't disappear.

Because Future You isn't asking for perfection.

They are asking you to remember them!

Before the decision.

Not after.

Love,

Roxanne ❤️

One of the biggest lies dieters tell themselves is:

"One weekend won't matter."

But right beside it is another lie:

"I ruined everything."

The truth?

Neither is true.

One weekend doesn't ruin your progress.

But one weekend does reveal your patterns.

And that's why I think Memorial Day weekend is so valuable.

Not because it's a test.

But because it's feedback.

It shows you what happens when life gets less structured.

When the schedule changes.

When food is everywhere.

When you're around family and friends.

When nobody is watching.

That's when the real work shows up.

Not perfection.

Awareness.

Because the goal isn't to survive this weekend.

The goal is to learn something from it.

Maybe you'll realize evenings are harder than you thought.

Maybe you'll notice food noise gets louder around certain people.

Maybe you'll discover that going in without a plan never works.

Good.

That's information.

And information creates awareness.

And awareness creates change.

So…whatever happens this weekend...

Pay attention.

Not with judgment.

With curiosity.

Because Tuesday morning isn't about whether you were perfect.

It's about whether you stayed connected to yourself.

05/22/2026

Before this weekend gets away from you...Before the cookouts. Before the desserts. Before the drinks.

Before the "I'll start again next week" conversation starts in your head...

I want you to pause and ask yourself one question.

How do you want to feel Tuesday morning?

Not what do you want the scale to say.

Not how much weight you want to lose.

How do you want to FEEL?

Energized?

Proud?

In control?

Calm?

Confident?

Because whether you realize it or not...

The choices you make this weekend are casting votes for that version of you.

And here's what I've learned after years of dieting and years of maintaining over 100 pounds of weight loss:

The women who feel the best after a holiday weekend aren't the women who were perfect.

They're the women who stayed connected to themselves.

They enjoyed the cookout.

They enjoyed time with family.

They had dessert if they wanted it.

But they never disappeared.

They stayed aware.

They stayed intentional.

They remembered who they wanted to be on Tuesday morning.

So before this weekend begins...

Create the vision.

How do you want to feel when you wake up Tuesday?

Then let that vision guide your decisions.

Not perfection.

Just intention.

Love,

Roxanne 🥰

If you're reading this and thinking...

"I don't want to wake up Tuesday feeling bloated, frustrated, and disappointed in myself again..."

Then the 14-Day Better Body Breakthrough was built for you.

We'll show you how to enjoy weekends, holidays, vacations, and real life...

Without feeling like you have to start over every Monday.

If you'd like to see what that looks like...

Sometimes I think it feels like the addiction is to food. We can’t stop thinking about it, when will we get that next hit, our mouths water even thinking about it

What if though, the addiction was actually to escaping?

Instead of handling stress, we run from it. Right into the arms of the one thing most of us are trying to conquer. The one thing that is so socially accepted to cope with.

What do you do when you get stressed?
When you are tired?
Worn down?
Overwhelmed?
Frustrated?

Do you take time to deal with it?
Rest?
Recover?
Have conversations?
Or do you just numb?

Maybe food was never the issue? Maybe....

05/20/2026

Have you ever avoided keeping certain foods in the house?

Not because you don’t like them…

But because you don’t trust yourself around them?

Memorial Day weekend is coming up and for a lot of people…

That fear gets LOUD.

The chips.
The desserts.
The cookouts.
The leftovers sitting in the kitchen all weekend long.

I used to believe: “If I start, I won’t stop.”

So I avoided buying certain foods altogether because it felt safer than learning how to navigate them.

But here’s what I eventually realized:

Avoiding food doesn’t heal our relationship with it.

It usually just increases the obsession.

Because the more “off limits” something feels…

The more emotional power it tends to hold.

That doesn’t mean you throw all structure out the window.

It means you learn how to bring awareness INTO the moment instead of fear.

A few things that helped me:

1. Stop labeling yourself “good” or “bad” based on food.

One weekend does not define you.
One meal does not define you.
And shame has never created peace with food.

2. Slow down.

If you’re going to have something, ACTUALLY enjoy it.

Sit down.
Taste it.
Be present with it.

Mindless eating is usually where the spiral starts.

3. Have a plan BEFORE the moment happens.

Don’t just “hope” things go well this weekend.

Know your plan.
Know your boundaries.
Know what enough feels like.

That changes everything.

The goal isn’t perfection this weekend.

The goal is to stay connected to yourself.

Because when we stop restricting…

We stop obsessing.

And when we stop obsessing…

Food slowly loses its power over us.

This is a process.

It takes practice.

But you are not broken.

You’re just out of rhythm.
