🌑🌊Entirely on a whim, I decided to have a little New Moon in Cancer reset

No elaborate plan. No perfectly curated ritual. Just me following the nudge.

🐦‍⬛🪦I cleansed my calendar, my daily habits, my work, and my relationship with money. I threw my passport on my altar (because why not?), added pink salt, cinnamon, and honey for a little sweetness and abundance, lit a blue candle, tucked in a dried rosebud, and sat with my crystal ball.

✨Then I asked myself some questions.

- What if I released it all?
- What if I allowed myself to be new in the same clothes?
- What if nothing defines me?
- What if none of it is attached to fear?
- What if I detached from the future?
- What if I let the future in?

Somewhere between the candle wax and my existential crisis, I realized I don’t need to burn my life down to begin again.

Maybe I’m not becoming someone new. Maybe I’m just finally giving myself permission to become more me.

💋Here’s to impulsive moon rituals, beautiful start-overs, and following what feels deliciously alive.

🐦‍⬛Bring a blanket, your emotional support na beverage, I’ll bring the sweet treats and taboo topics.

🌕We’ll gather at twilight under the full moon to sip, sprawl in the grass, and talk about the one thing every human has in common.

🪦No lecture. No therapy. Just a bunch of weird, wonderful people making death a little less taboo.

☕️Some of the conversations we’ve had at Death Cafe include:

- Why are we so disconnected from dying when it’s one of the most natural things humans do?

- Who remembers us after we’re gone, and what does legacy really mean?

- Why don’t families talk about death and end-of-life wishes?

- What no one tells you about grief, paperwork, and the practical realities after someone dies.

- How can we make death care and end-of-life choices more accessible for everyone?

No agenda. Just curious humans having meaningful conversations

Meet me in The Elmwood Cemetery under the full moon.

Not because we’re trying to summon anything.
Not because we’re trying to release anything

Because sometimes grief needs somewhere more sacred to land

We’ll gather at Elmwood Cemetery and walk together through winding paths, old monuments, rolling hills, and moonlit silence. There will be gentle prompts, moments to pause, and plenty of space to simply be with whatever you’re carrying.

You don’t need to have someone buried there.
You don’t need a fresh loss.
You don’t need a good explanation.

Maybe you’re grieving a person.
Maybe you’re grieving a version of yourself.
Maybe you’re grieving something you can’t quite name yet.

The full moon has long been associated with illumination, a time when things become more visible. Not to force healing or closure, but to gently notice what is asking for our attention.

We’ll walk.
We’ll breathe.
We’ll let the night hold some of what we’ve been carrying.

For the deep feelers, the people who find beauty in old cemeteries and comfort in honest conversations about being human.

Come wander with us.
