Had a reschedule for today and decided to take some time to draw this little frog dude on paper.

With prepping for appointments and making stencils it feels like I rarely get a chance to just sit down and draw on paper with microns and pencil. It felt good getting that tactile feel of the paper texture again, and I only tried to tap the paper for an undo a few times 🤣😅

It's been years since I've tried to push more of that comic book style, but today I was feeling the itch to practice those heavy blacks and hatching for a bold high contrast design. I'd definitely love to start incorporating more of the bold comic book style blacks into my tattoos.

What if an Elephant was part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Well, here's what it might look like.

I'm super pleased with the start to this killer piece and can't wait to finish up this cool character along with adding the foreground and background next month.
