A little shop failure..... 110 year old floor system failire....

Fill the basement with stone and concrete. Many problems solved. Has put a few projects behind. But refuse to work out of the basement.

See the previous posts on this cherry slab. One more sealer coat 1/2 gallon was applied. Surface was then lightly sanded to get rid of dust nubs. Finally a one gallon surface pour.

We will call it a success. I personally do not care for the thick gloss look. But if customer wants it, we can do.

I have no excuse. The 17' cherry top is moving forward.. .. many hours of stablizing the wood epoxy, sanding.... repeating.......

Pictures show a coat of sealer epoxy being poured. Will lightly sand and apply another. Then repeat till I like it. Then on to the top coat.

Pictures show some delays in the process.... it is a process... "few" of the Youtube and BS influencers show the truth... this takes time and usually many steps...

I failed to mention, this is side 2, the bottom, in my eyes. The other side is going to be even more awesome. I have had customers prefer side 2, so we try to make them all freaking cool.

It will hit the finish line eventually. Should have done to be on the next Artimus flight to that new colony.....

Reclaimed yellow pine butcher block 27" x 16'.

17 foot cherry slab with epoxy to fill and stabilize.

These projects take up a lot of space.

Moving these and others to showroom next week.

Have a reclaimed old growth timber project in process.

From a 120 year old barn, timbers have rings so tight a magnifying glass is needed.....
From the time of the Mayflower. Freaking crazy.

Flaming box elder. Six boards surfaced to a true 1.5" thickness by 15" by 7.5 feet. Can be book matched or resawn as your project developes..

Have been reorganizing inventory to access more unique and good stuff.

The 2nd longest single piece project in the shop. Cherry, 34" wide, 17' long.

Anyone remember the 42' long counter....

Unload and load the kiln.... part of the process.

16' white oak . 42" on the skinny end.

Pulled nearly 3000 bf walnut and 2000 bf of sycamore. Reloaded. And still i have no room. Imagine that.
