I know...it doesn't seem like our kids pay much attention to us as parents.

But research shows...THEY ABSOLUTELY DO.

You can be the influence, the conversation starter, and the reason your kids make good choices as they grow up.

It all starts with communication and clear boundaries...you got this!

September is Su***de Prevention Month. 💜

It’s a reminder that prevention starts with connection—and that a simple conversation can make a difference.

At home and at school, we can help young people feel seen, heard and supported. Parents Lead offers free tools to help families talk openly, build resilience and support mental well-being—long before a crisis happens.

Steele County Public Health offers FREE naloxone training, and participants receive free naloxone after completing the training.

Whether you’re an individual, family member, employer, or community organization, learning how to recognize an overdose and respond can make a life-saving difference.

💜 Stop the debate. Save the life. 💜

💙 Narcan isn’t just for people who may be at risk for an opioid overdose. It’s for all of us.

It’s for the toddler who finds a pill at the park.
It’s for the friend whose drink was unknowingly spiked.
It’s for the teen who made one bad choice.
It’s for the grandparent who accidentally takes a second dose.
And it’s for people who use substances who may experience an opioid overdose.

Because you never know when someone might need it.

Naloxone (also known as Narcan®) can quickly reverse an opioid overdose and give someone a second chance.

Western Plains Public Health offers FREE naloxone training, and participants receive free naloxone after completing the training.

Whether you’re an individual, family member, employer, or community organization, learning how to recognize an overdose and respond can make a life-saving difference.
