You’ve probably heard it all about this food…
“It causes inflammation.”
“Dairy is not good for you.”
“You should avoid it.”
"It's too sweet, it will cause cravings."

Let’s learn about yogurt for a second…

Regular yogurt is made by heating milk, adding bacteria, and leaving it to ferment until it reaches an acidic pH of about 4.6. After it cools, other ingredients like fruit may be added.

The final product has a smooth consistency but may vary in thickness. Most yogurts are either drinkable or can be eaten with a spoon.

Due to its acidic nature, plain yogurt may taste slightly sour, but it’s generally sweeter than Greek yogurt.

Greek yogurt, also known as concentrated or strained yogurt, is made by straining the whey and other liquids from regular yogurt to eliminate them.

Because the straining process reduces the total volume, Greek yogurt takes significantly more milk than regular yogurt to make a batch of the same size.

And this is where I recommend Organic milk. It's best to start with a milk product that isn't full of injected hormones from the cows that produce that milk.

Regardless of what yogurt you buy, read the label and know what you're getting. Many yogurts are filled with sugar and food coloring - not actual fruit.

That’s the first step.
Not perfection. Not elimination. Just a better choice.

Because here’s the truth:
Nutrition is bio-individual.
What works for one person may not work for another.

Small, intentional steps.
That’s how real change happens. 💛

I’m jumping in!

I’m officially in Week 3 of a 6-week Impact Storytelling class with 6 other incredible women—and we are going all in.

Right now, we’re learning the techniques + steps for crafting our stories in a way that truly lands with audiences. 🎤

And yes—our hard work culminates in a LIVE Impact Storytelling performance!

I’m feeling a mix of nervous + excited + ready to take the leap.

I’ve spoken in front of audiences before, but mainly in an educational way—not as my story.

Now I’m using this to launch myself into the motivational speaking community, where I can share my story and keep building on what matters most to me: health & wellness.

📍 Calling all my local friends—this is for you!

I can't imagine not having ever liked to read because I'm such an avid reader now.

Reading to me now is fun for several reasons.

Reading is fun because I meet monthly with the girls and we have a great time chatting about a book and simply connecting.

I read to learn, to educate myself because if I wasn't constantly learning and exploring new things I wouldn't always be in a growth mindset.

And I read to help people. I read nutrition books, fitness books, life books, books about trauma, all sorts of books so that I can share that knowledge through my coaching.

What's your favorite book? I'll make sure to add it to my list or stack of books in my bookcase.

What's in your wine? Probably a lot of added sugar and chemicals.

Know what you're drinking just like you know by reading labels what you're eating.

I’m honored to be part of the She Rises Studio community, publishers of my upcoming book, and to be profiled in Hanna Magazine.

The article, “Leading Women Toward Healing, Hope, and Sustainable Transformation,” dives into the leadership path I’m following, the healing work that informs it, and the sustainable change I’m committed to guiding others toward. Grateful to Hanna Magazine for the thoughtful coverage and to She Rises Studio for their unwavering support.

After over a year of hard work, I’m finally approaching the finish line—the final manuscript is here!!! 🎉📚

Of course, I had to print it out to review. Seeing the pages in my hands makes it feel like it’s truly becoming a book instead of just a document.

I can’t wait to share more about 6 Million Reasons To... soon, but for now, come take a quick peek with me. 👀✨
