The 40/70 Rule encourages adult children to begin having serious conversations about long-term senior care options with your parents by the time you are 40 years old and your parents are 70 (at the latest)!

Many people living with lupus face challenges that aren’t always visible to others.

As we wrap up Lupus Awareness Month, we’re helping shine a light on the realities of living with chronic illness while encouraging greater awareness, empathy, and support within our communities.

At Guardian Care, our team brings not only professional experience, but personal experiences that help us connect more deeply with our caregiver community.

Through empathy, advocacy, and shared understanding, we hope to create spaces where individuals living with invisible illnesses feel understood, supported, and empowered.

This Lupus Awareness Month, Uniquely You Magazine featured Rineeta’s story, including her diagnosis experience, life living with lupus, and how her lived experiences help shape the work she does every day with communities facing medical complexities at Guardian Care.

At Guardian Care, we know that sharing experiences often results in greater connection and empathy. Stories like Rineeta’s help foster understanding while reminding others navigating chronic illness that they are not alone.
