My name is Jason Mecler, and I am a dedicated cannabis and hemp product developer and educator. My journey into this field began out of necessity when traditional medicine failed to address my health challenges. Diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ankylosing spondylitis, and a double mutation of the MTHFR gene, I struggled with debilitating sympt

oms, including chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, and mental health challenges. These illnesses profoundly impacted my life, but cannabis became a turning point in my healing journey. Through its use, I found relief, managed most of my symptoms, and reduced my reliance on pain medications. This personal transformation led me to explore the cannabis industry further, initially for my own healing. However, as I shared my products with others, I discovered their potential to help those grappling with similar health issues. What began as a personal quest evolved into a mission to provide relief and hope to others. My education in cannabis medicine is rooted in the work and research of industry pioneers such as Max Montrose (Trichome Institute), Dr. Ethan Russo, Jorge Cervantes, and Raphael Mechoulam, among others. Their knowledge has guided my understanding and approach to developing effective and reliable products. With the encouragement of my wife and others who believed in my vision, we launched Cosmec Healing. As a small, family-owned business, our goal is to educate, empower, and provide products that truly make a difference. Every ingredient we use is of the highest quality, organic whenever possible, and in full compliance with federal hemp laws. Additionally, all our terpenes and cannabinoids undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure safety and effectiveness. While cannabis medicine may not be the right fit for everyone, our high success rate inspires us to continue helping people find relief. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. Every successful company has that one employee who keeps everything running smoothly.

At Cosmec Healing, that employee is apparently Gungi. 😂

His official job description is still being finalized, but his daily responsibilities include:

🐾 Making sure I am NEVER left alone while packaging orders. Personal space is not part of the Cosmec employee handbook.

🐾 Closely supervising every box that gets packed. He has absolutely no idea where it's going or what's inside, but quality control is quality control.

🐾 Providing frequent inventory reminders that the treat supply is dangerously low, even when the bag is 90% full.

🐾 Enforcing mandatory work breaks by staring at me until I acknowledge him.

🐾 Alerting management to suspicious activity, including delivery drivers, boats, birds, squirrels, neighbors, and occasionally absolutely nothing.

🐾 Maintaining strict snack time schedules that management was never consulted about.

🐾 Sleeping on the job while somehow remaining convinced that he is the hardest-working member of the company.

His compensation package includes treats, belly rubs, waterfront views, flexible hours, unlimited naps, and absolutely zero accountability.

Despite several documented HR violations, Gungi remains an essential part of the Cosmec Healing team.

Mostly because he's adorable and firing him would apparently require me to package orders alone. 😂🐾💚

Cosmec Healing to outgrow…

Being small enough to notice. 💛

Small enough to still get excited when a dispensary calls for another order.

Small enough to listen to the people who actually use our products and let them help shape where we go next.

But at the same time…

I want Cosmec Healing to grow. I want it to grow BIG.

Not because I want us to become some huge, disconnected company — but because the bigger we grow, the more people we have the opportunity to reach and hopefully help.

I want Cosmec in more communities, more stores and more states. I want as many people as possible to have access to the products we've put so much time, thought and heart into creating.

Things are moving fast, and our goals are getting bigger.

But no matter how big Cosmec becomes, I never want to lose what got us here in the first place:

Some of the tools we use in our daily lives at Cosmec Healing don’t cost a thing. Sometimes the simplest things can be part of taking care of ourselves.

I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket if my life depended on it. 😂 But put me behind the wheel by myself with a good song playing, and suddenly I’m the lead singer of the band. I just make sure I’m alone so I don’t offend anyone. 😆🎤

Turns out there may actually be a little science behind all that terrible singing.

Singing and humming naturally involve controlled breathing and vibration, and research suggests they may influence vagal activity and the parasympathetic nervous system, systems involved in helping our bodies shift toward a calmer, more relaxed state.

And the best part? It’s free.

So crank up your favorite song. Sing way too loud. Miss every high note. Forget the words and make up your own. 😂
