Today we celebrate Jennifer’s 2-year anniversary with Mission Respite and Elizabeth’s birthday! 🎉

Jennifer has been such an important part of our growth, bringing dedication, heart, and a true commitment to supporting our families and Respite Companions.

Elizabeth brings so much compassion and warmth to our team. She has a natural ability to connect with people, make others feel supported, and always leads with her huge heart.

We’re fortunate to have these amazing women on our team. They believe in our mission, care deeply about the families we serve, and genuinely care about one another.

MEET CARL BRINKMAN

Dad to 7-year-old twins on the autism spectrum, mental health counselor, and facilitator of a dads’ caregiver support group, Carl brings both professional insight and lived experience to the Heart of Caregiving Retreat.

Carl will lead an honest conversation about caregiver burnout, hope, and caring for the person behind the caregiving.

Get ready to dance, celebrate, and have a spooktacular time at our FREE Halloween Dance Party! 🎃

Join DSAW–South Central and SibShop for an evening filled with music from a DJ, dancing, crafts, and a delicious dinner.

Individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities, along with their friends and families, are invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, October 17, from 4:30–7:00 PM.

Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume! We'll also have a Red Carpet Walk where anyone who wants to show off their costume—or simply enjoy their moment in the spotlight—is welcome to participate.

This FREE event will be held at the Ho-Chunk Community Center
