The Reach UR Life Youth Su***de Prevention Program at NACA, in partnership with the Health First Foundation Northern Arizona, invites community members to a focus group discussion: "Cultural Insight into Mental Health Strategies."

We are seeking cultural insights to help strengthen identity and improve Native American youth su***de prevention strategies. Your input will directly shape future mental health workshops and programs!

✨ Who Should Participate?
- Community members ages 18+ (No prior mental health background required!)
- Native American educators, counselors, staff, parents, caregivers, youth 18+, and spiritual leaders are strongly encouraged to attend

🎁Refreshments will be provided, and incentives are available for participants who complete the focus group!

Every year on September 30th, Orange Shirt Day (Truth & Reconciliation Day) acknowledges the boarding school era that affected Indigenous relatives across the United States and Canada. It is a vital day of remembrance, reflection, and healing for survivors and their families. 🧡

Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) invites you to join us at the NACA Wellness Center for two community events to honor this day:

🎨 Tie-Dye Shirt Making: Come craft your own orange tie-dye shirt to wear on September 30th! Supplies will be provided.

👟 Awareness Walk & Prayer: Join us for a prayer and a 2-mile walk to honor and remember the children and families impacted by the boarding school era.

This annual event is a space to raise awareness, connect with vital community resources, and walk in support and remembrance of those affected by su***de loss. Together, we move forward in healing and hope.
