A new era is arriving in Flemington as The Union Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel prepares to officially reopen on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, following a transformative redevelopment that reintroduces one of New Jersey’s most historic properties as a modern boutique hotel and social destination.

Originally established in 1814, The Union Hotel has long stood at the center of Flemington’s history and culture. Following an extensive restoration, the landmark property is reopening with 100 thoughtfully designed guest rooms, including 10 suites, elevated dining concepts, nightlife experiences, curated gathering spaces, and pet-friendly accommodations within Courthouse Square on Main Street.

Conveniently situated between New York City, Philadelphia, Bucks County, and surrounding suburban communities, the hotel is positioned as a destination for weekend escapes, celebrations, meetings, weddings and standout dining experiences for locals and visitors alike.

The project is led by developer Jack Cust, whose vision centered around honoring the building’s legacy while introducing an elevated hospitality, dining, and social experience to the region.

Through years of business and community investment, Cust has played a major role in the continued revitalization and growth of Flemington and the surrounding area.
“Throughout the redevelopment process, great care was taken to preserve and restore as many original architectural elements and historic details of the property as possible,” said Cust. “The project intentionally blends the preserved bones and historic integrity of the building with contemporary design, allowing The Union Hotel to maintain its rich sense of history while introducing a refreshed guest experience built for today’s traveler.”

The hotel will operate under Concord Hospitality, one of the country’s leading hotel management and development companies, and will be part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, bringing nationally recognized hospitality standards and loyalty benefits to the property while maintaining its independent identity and boutique experience.

Love my new space! Each day I make a few changes to make it feel like home. Curtains needed alterations since the windows are so wide but short. I repurposed my old curtains and had a seamstress shorten them. Custom blinds are on their way. My front room will have a nice Farmhouse Fresh Skincare Section. A new cabinet arrived and waiting for me to tackle putting it together. My new desk is perfect for the space with plenty of storage. That was a team effort with over 3 hours. I need to thank a few people for making this move happen. First my patient husband who helped me pack and move the old office along with my son Adrian and Joey and ofcourse Jamo. ( my adopted son. lol)
Special thanks to my brother for helping paint and hanging the huge mirror and curtain rods. I could not have done this without everyone’s help.

Moving day!! Today I say goodbye to 134 Main Street in Flemington. Bittersweet for sure! I started here on the first floor after Covid transitioning my mobile business to a brick and mortar. This was a test to see how it would affect my business. I was pleasantly surprised that this was the best decision. Eventually the building sold and I moved upstairs, again not knowing how this would affect business. My clients are awesome never complaining…..much……about the stairs. Well the building sold again and the timing felt right to move again. This time back to a first floor, quieter, better parking, and another Historic building, The Old Egg Auction. Next week will be busy with much needed renovations and transforming this space into my own tranquil space. Stay tuned.

Moving day! One chapter closes as another one opens. This place will hold a special place in my heart as I came here after Covid. Transitioned my business from a mobile business to a brick and mortar. I made some great friends and will miss seeing them. On to the next adventure! Just a quick reminder. Therapeutic Touch by Kim will be at 134 Main Street until Thursday May 28. Friday-Sunday we will be using that time to move the remaining items out. We will be closed for business from Friday May 28 - Sunday June 7 to do some renovations on the new space and move our items in. Appointments are available beginning June 8. June is filling up fast so don’t hesitate if you want an appointment. Thank you for your patience while we transition into our new location. 84 Park Avenue, Suite G107, The Old Egg Auction. The top is a separate piece so you can use just the bottom as a dining room accent piece or as a tv stand. Tons of storage in the front and both sides. This Saturday May 30 I have three strong men moving it out of my office so Saturday is the perfect day to pull your truck up and they can load it.
