When most people see an old tattoo, they see a mistake.

Ben sees a blank canvas.

This client came in with faded lettering and an old tribal band that no longer fit who they are. Instead of laser sessions or settling for something average, they chose a complete transformation.

Now, the journey begins with one of the galaxy’s most iconic bounty hunters—the Mandalorian.

Now THIS is how you do a coverup. 😮‍💨🔥

People always ask…

“Can this old tattoo actually be covered?”

Sometimes the answer is no.
But when the right artist gets ahold of it? 👀

Ben Knotts took this faded old piece and completely transformed it into a bold Spartan warrior sleeve piece packed with depth, contrast, and detail.

We will NOT rush your tattoo just to fit more people into a day.

This industry has changed a lot over the years. Some shops are focused on volume. Get people in, get them out, move to the next one.

That’s never been our mindset.

Good tattoos take time.
Good placement takes time.
Good conversations take time.

Sometimes clients need a minute to breathe.
Sometimes they need help deciding placement.
Sometimes they need reassurance before their very first tattoo.

And honestly? That matters just as much as the tattoo itself.

Because this isn’t just another appointment.
This is something you’ll wear for life.

We’d rather spend extra time making sure it’s RIGHT than rush through it just to squeeze another client in the chair.

That’s just not how we do things at Porkchop’s. 👊
