Yesterday, I spent the afternoon planting annuals in my garden.
Bright pops of color. Fresh starts. New growth.

There's something deeply satisfying about getting your hands in the soil, choosing where each plant goes, and watching something beautiful come to life.

It reminded me of what we're creating on May 29.

Yesterday was a busy day. As I moved from one thing to the next, I felt a little off. In my mind, I focused on the one thing that was “upsetting” me. Then something magical happened.
As I was driving, my brain and heart got really present to all the happiness available. I was listening to my daughter and her friend sing along with the Mamma Mia soundtrack that was in my Dad’s car when I got it after he passed. His favorite musical.
A smile started to spread across my face. My mouth opened and I started singing along. My attitude shifted and I started reviewing all the wonderful things that had happened since I woke up. I realized that this moment, the one in the car with the wind in my hair and music in my heart was bringing my joy if I would let it! And so I did!
Isn’t that how life is? We can focus on what isn’t going right or notice all the things that are going beautifully. Gratitude is my favorite inheritance from my Dad. It makes ordinary days extraordinary.
For today, I am relaxing in my garden enjoying all these flowers who made their debut this week. So much pleasure listening to the cardinal sing, watching the sun highlight my plants and sipping my coffee with a dog by my side. Feels extra 🩷✨

Just a quick check in. Are you in balance and flowing or are you a bit stressed and stuck?
I love knowing where I get stuck so I can nourish that element and get back into flow.
Can you see your pattern? Most of us have a go to behavior when we are stressed. I go to overwhelm, frustrated and find it hard to make a decision (Wood).
