Meet Noah Slack — Product and Program Manager, Specialty Spine
 
With almost 6 years at Zavation, Noah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as Product and Program Manager, Specialty Spine. Before stepping into product management, he worked as a design engineer, building a strong technical foundation that continues to guide his work today.
 
Here’s what Noah shared about his experience:
 
“Since I began working at Zavation, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the most talented people in the industry. Whether in engineering, manufacturing, product management, or sales, our team is full of skilled and passionate people. That culture of excellence allows great products to be developed and delivered to help patients in a lasting way. The work can be challenging at times, but we have all the people we need to accomplish our goals. It is a rewarding place to work!”

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming Hartfield Academy’s Medical Science Club to Zavation for a behind-the-scenes look at what we do!

Students toured our Flowood facility, explored the world of medical devices, and learned how our teams work together to develop spinal implant technology used in spine surgery.

A special thank you to Dr. Kim Simpson for coordinating the visit and to Noah Slack, Product Manager, for leading the tour and sharing his knowledge with the students!

We loved the opportunity to share our work and help spark curiosity in the next generation of innovators. Thanks for spending the morning with us, Hartfield!

Meet Andrew Vollmar — Senior Animator & Designer, Marketing

With 16 years of tenure, Andrew has left his mark on work you’ve almost certainly seen: surgical technique guides, product brochures, training animations, and much of our digital presence. He began his career at Zavation on the original Tiger® Pedicle Screw System technique guide and has since created renderings and animations for over 50 product lines, transforming complex engineering designs into engaging content that showcases how our instruments and implants work.

As Zavation has navigated two business acquisitions, growing our portfolio and bringing more literature development in-house, Andrew has steadily taken on more responsibility as our sole Senior Animator and Designer. As part of the Marketing team, he works closely with Product Management to bring our products and technologies to life.

“I’ve seen the company evolve and grow, and I’m always curious to see what we’ll be doing next. Oh, and on Wednesdays, we wear pink.”
