SHIFT is almost here, and I’m getting so excited!!

There’s something really special about bringing people together who are willing to take a look at where they are, what they want, and what might be ready to change.

We spend so much time focused on everything that needs to get done that we don’t always give ourselves the opportunity to look at the bigger picture.

And that’s part of what I’m looking forward to most about SHIFT — the opportunity to have meaningful conversations, make connections, and walk away with something to really think about.

If you’ve been considering joining us, we’d love to have you there!

Registration closes MONDAY NIGHT, October 19!
SHIFT is happening Thursday, October 22!

Happy Thursday!

Have you ever made a decision that felt completely right to you, but the minute you shared it with someone else, they had a dozen reasons why you should reconsider?

Suddenly, something you felt good about becomes something you’re questioning.

It’s amazing how easily we can allow other people’s opinions to become louder than our own understanding of ourselves.

The interesting thing is that what works beautifully for one person may be completely wrong for another. We all have different needs, natural strengths, ways of processing information, and experiences that shape how we move through life.

Yet so many of us spend years trying to make ourselves fit into ways of living that were never particularly comfortable for us in the first place.

Sacred Pause

Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about a time when you made a choice that felt right for you, even though someone else might not have understood it.

What did you recognize about yourself in that moment?

The more you understand how you naturally operate, the less time you spend questioning every decision or comparing yourself to the way someone else does things.

You begin recognizing which environments support you, how you make your best decisions, and when you’re following an expectation that doesn’t really belong to you.

And here’s something worth remembering: knowing yourself doesn’t mean you’ll never make a mistake. It means you become better at recognizing what you need and making adjustments without feeling like you’ve failed.

There’s a wonderful kind of freedom in no longer needing everyone else to understand why something is right for you.

What’s something you’ve learned about yourself that has made your life a little easier? ✨

Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever reacted to something and afterward thought, “Well, that could have gone differently!” 😂

We’ve all had those moments. Someone says something that hits a nerve, plans suddenly change, or a situation doesn’t go the way we expected. Before we know it, we’re responding from frustration, fear, or an old experience that may have very little to do with what’s actually happening.

What’s interesting is how quickly our bodies can react before we’ve even had a chance to understand why something bothered us.

And sometimes, when we look a little deeper, we realize our reaction was connected to something we’ve experienced before.

Sacred Pause

Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about a recent situation where you felt yourself becoming upset, defensive, or overwhelmed.

Instead of judging how you handled it, get curious about what was happening within you.

Ask yourself, “Was I responding to what was actually happening, or was something from my past influencing how I experienced it?”

That awareness can change so much.

We may not always control what happens around us, and we certainly won’t respond perfectly every time. But as we become more familiar with our patterns, we begin to recognize when something has activated an old response.

That’s where we create an opportunity to choose differently.

The next time something pushes your buttons, see if you can give yourself a moment before responding. You might discover that the situation doesn’t need the same reaction it would have received from an earlier version of you.

Have you ever recognized an old reaction in yourself and realized you were ready to handle things differently? ✨

For generations, leadership has been connected with having the answers. The leader was expected to know what should happen and how everyone else should get there. It created structure, and it also taught many of us to trust authority before we ever learned to trust ourselves.

My new episode is all about the kind of leadership this new era is asking for. Listen on Substack https://dawnranieri.substack.com/p/are-you-guiding-people-or-telling or any of your favorite podcast platforms. 🎙️

Happy Tuesday!

It’s interesting how quickly we can forget how far we’ve come when we start looking at where someone else is in their life.

We see people reaching milestones, growing businesses, making changes, or experiencing things we’ve been working toward ourselves. And before we know it, we’re questioning whether we’re doing enough or moving fast enough.

But we’re not all working with the same circumstances, experiences, opportunities, or even the same desires.

What looks like progress for one person may have very little to do with what would actually make another person happy.

Sacred Pause

Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about something in your life that has changed over the past year.

Maybe it’s the way you handle a difficult situation, how you communicate, a decision you finally made, or something you once struggled with that feels easier now.

Would you have recognized that progress if you hadn’t stopped to look?

Sometimes our greatest growth happens in ways that aren’t particularly visible to anyone else. We develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, become more comfortable with our choices, or begin responding to life differently.

Those changes matter, even when there’s no big accomplishment to announce.

Your life isn’t supposed to be a copy of someone else’s, and your progress doesn’t need to follow their timeline.

What’s one way you’ve grown that your past self would be proud of? ✨

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend .

There’s something interesting that happens as we get older and gain more experience. We become comfortable doing the things we know, but sometimes less willing to try something where we might not be very good at first.

We forget that every skill we have today was once something we didn’t know how to do.

Maybe there’s a new interest you’ve been curious about, a skill you’d love to learn, or an opportunity you’ve considered but talked yourself out of because you don’t have the experience.

Somewhere along the way, we can start expecting ourselves to be good at something before we’ve even given ourselves the chance to learn it.

Sacred Pause

Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about something you’ve wanted to try but haven’t pursued because you feel inexperienced, uncertain, or worried about how you’ll look doing it.

Ask yourself, “What would I be willing to explore if I didn’t expect myself to be good at it right away?”

Remember how much you’ve learned throughout your life simply because you were willing to begin.

Being a beginner can actually be exciting when we stop making it a reflection of our abilities or worth. There’s curiosity in discovering something unfamiliar, and sometimes we surprise ourselves with what we enjoy.

You don’t have to master everything you try. You might discover a new passion, develop a skill, or simply have an experience that makes life more interesting.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t given yourself permission to be a beginner at yet? ✨

There is a quiet knowing that something is changing, in you and in the world around you.

Here are five signs the Shift may already be happening in your life:

✨You are questioning what you actually want, not what you should want.
✨How you work does not fit the way it once did. ✨You are rethinking how you lead.
✨Beliefs you have held for years are beginning to wobble.
✨And you keep wondering what you are truly here to do next.

If even two of these resonate, you are feeling it. And there is a map for it.

Inside THE SHIFT, my live Human Design workshop, we will explore the eight Locks, the foundational aspects of human experience, and discover which ones are activated in your design.

Thursday, October 22nd, 7 to 8:30 PM Eastern. Link in bio. You will share your birth date, time and place at registration, and I will use it to prepare your personal chart and integration report.

Which one landed for you? Tell me below. ✨

When someone asks for our guidance, it can be tempting to tell them exactly what we think they should do. We may believe we are helping them avoid a mistake, but our advice is always shaped by our own experiences and fears.

In my newest episode of A Vibe Above, I explore the difference between supporting someone and deciding what is right for them. We can share our wisdom while still helping people trust themselves and take responsibility for their choices.

This conversation applies to parents, business owners, coaches, teachers, and anyone who has influence in another person’s life. I also included a guided visualization to help you consider what kind of support you offer to the people who trust you.

Happy Sunday!

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get caught up in taking care of everything and everyone else, only to realize you haven’t done much for yourself lately?

We can become so accustomed to giving our time, attention, and energy that we forget how important it is to have experiences that replenish us, too.

And I’m not just talking about taking a day off or getting more sleep.

Sometimes it’s spending time with someone who makes you laugh until your stomach hurts. Getting lost in something creative. Having a conversation that leaves you feeling inspired. Exploring somewhere new or doing something simply because you enjoy it.

Those experiences matter more than we sometimes realize.

Sacred Pause

Close your eyes.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale gently through your nose.

Think about the last time you finished doing something and felt genuinely happy, energized, or more connected to yourself.

What were you doing? Who were you with? What made that experience feel so good?

Pay attention to your answer. We each have different things that nourish us, and what works for someone else may do absolutely nothing for you.

The more you understand what fills your cup, the easier it becomes to recognize when you’ve been running on empty and what you can do about it.

You deserve to experience the same care and attention you so freely give to others.

What’s one thing that genuinely fills your cup, and when was the last time you made time for it? ✨
