I don't know about you, but a few weeks ago, my July calendar was pretty empty. Now it is jam packed full of events, travel, kid camps, and projects.

Wondering what to expect in a floating sound bath?

💫 You lay on an air mattress in a body of water
💫 You experience a sound bath
💫 I help you get off the float at the end of the session

What to bring: anything that will help you feel comfortable, whether that is a pillow, blanket, towel, eye mask, stuffed animal, journal & pen, or all of the above!

You can wear a swimsuit if you want, but you don't need to as only your feet will be getting wet.

Next floating soundbath is Friday, June 26th from 7 pm to 8:30 pm in Folsom, California.

Guess what? To enjoy a sound bath, you don't have to know anything! You don't have to know how to meditate, or how to clear your mind. You don't have to know how to relax. You don't have to know anything about sound healing. All you have to do is show up. My job is to create the space that just allows you to relax, allows you to clear your mind, and allows you to experience the magic of a sound bath.

If your brain has been running a million miles an hour lately, consider this your invitation to try something a little different.

Oh hiiiiiii! I'm still alive. Just much better at taking care of everyone else's needs than my own. It's a season of temporary neglect while I shuttle my kids all around town, transition to a new role in my day job, and take care of my pets. I'm definitely looking forward to the sound bath on Thursday, June 18th at . Good news for you, there's still some tickets available. You can grab yours a the link in bio.

A small thing to note, June 26th's floating sound bath will occur as scheduled, but I rescheduled the July and August floating sound baths. DM "float" if you'd like to make sure you're on the list to get updates about events like that.

I can’t help but feel a little more relaxed just looking at this photo.

Sunday’s floating sound bath was one of those nights where the weather was perfect and everyone got to step away from their responsibilities and enter the “zen zone” for an hour.

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful night and can’t wait to recreate the experience again in a few weeks.

Pulling this affirmation from the archives because I needed to see it again.

No matter how much I would like it to be, my body is not a machine.

It turns out that I cannot survive indefinitely on ambition, caffeine, and a bajillion lists in my notes app. 🤦‍♀️

Apparently I also require things like:
✨ Water✨ Sleep✨ Food✨ Electrolytes

How rude!

It’s a lesson I often refuse to acknowledge, and when my body sends me the invoice, the price is higher than I want to pay.

I'm learning that taking care of myself isn't something I can put off until everything else is finished. It's something I have to do intentionally if I want the energy to keep showing up for the people, projects, and dreams I care about.

Still working on that lesson while surviving the first Monday of summer break with a migraine. 🙂
