Good morning world & hello September! ☀️❤️

2026 has been my best gardening year so far! 👩‍🌾 👏

And so I thank my garden for all it has produced, fed my body, taught me and the joy it has given me.

I started on March 1 sharp and put in the work, including shoveling and carrying a heavy load of free compost into my trunk and then into my raised beds.

The garden is slowing down, yet still producing. I have a bunch of bell peppers to collect and some pepper plants grown from seeds that haven’t even started producing yet, so I will most likely have Christmas peppers.🫑

A couple of things didn’t work out and that’s okay. Try and learn…

I now look ahead and am planning to grow more lettuces and salad greens, as well as two kinds of potatoes. I am also going to experiment with sweet potatoes and ginger. 🥬🥔🍠🫚
